  • Excellent volleyball scenes! Appreciated the story and attention to detail. It's refreshing to be able to take my family to a movie and not be worried about what they are seeing. I also loved the depiction of the Midwest...beautiful and full of heart.

  • I loved this movie. It took me through every emotion. Was real and told the story well. I know as a mother, grandmother, etc.. There is not time limit on grief and this was true to form. Well written. The actors portrayed the family and friends well. I would love to see it again. After all it's a true story about real people.

  • Saw this one with some of the girls from our city volleyball team, and it's a perfect film for that audience. Inspirational even if you're not a coach or player. Really enjoyed it, and I like the critic review that said they let the story unfold naturally (vs. the reviews that think it was too emotional).

  • My teenage daughter cried, at several different points during the film. I'm a tough old guy, so I did not cry until I saw the HBO special on this true story. Then the waterworks started, especially as I listened to Coach Kathy Bresnahan describe the days after Caroline died. At one point, she breaks down into tears, for real. Just seeing the real, raw emotion, well: this tough guy started crying.I don't know if others realize this, but the movie was based on a book the coach wrote, by the same title: The Miracle Season. The credit roll states all proceeds from that book purchase go to the Live Like Line Foundation, which provides funding to students in the Iowa City Community School District who need assistance to overcome financial barriers in order to participate in school activities. An article for Bustle, written by Angelica Florio, states: "The Real Coach, from 'The Miracle Season', Is the Reason Why the Movie Was Made At All". This is completely the truth, and builds a greater appreciation for the movie, when watching it. You would never guess that hard-driven, win-at-all costs coach, portrayed so very well by Helen Hunt, was the only reason the rest of us know of Caroline Found. It was Coach Brez's letters, it was her book, it was her wish to keep Caroline's memory alive, and not for her own gain, but for the good of future high school athletes.

  • The Miracle Season is a tear jerker so make sure you have Kleenex. It is a movie that grabs your interest right away. Caroline Found is the captain and setter for her volleyball team. She a special girl that cares about other's feelings. She is the leader of the team by her positive energy and fun she likes to have . Unfortunately August 11, 2011 Caroline was killed in a moped accident. The book talks about the difficulty the teammates face after the loss of their friend and co-player. The team works hard to win the second team state championship in a row for Caroline. This movie is a must see for anyone, it is truly an inspiration.

  • Ahhhmazing!!! This truly hits so close to home. I have a 15yr old High School daughter who lives for volleyball as her mother (myself). She dragged our family to the theater to see this movie. Not preparing myself for what the story was about, I walked in with eye makeup and out with a face full of streaming mascara. I'm so happy this story was shared, may we all live like LINE.

  • Pretty sappy. The main character was pretty annoying at the beginning.
