  • Terrifier is an amazing film. It gives us a creative and genuinely terrifying main villain, Art the Clown, originally introduced to us in All Hallows' Eve. I love this character, and for me, he gives Pennywise a run for his money in terms of how terrifying he is. For a low budget film, I really like the cinematography, and the kills are glorious, bloody, and practical. I really loved the soundtrack too. It sounds amazing, and it has an 80s slasher film vibe to it, and the film itself it an 80s slasher homage. The intro in the film really shows it. ;) I have like two complaints. One, a little of the scene after the amazing intro to me didn't make as much sense. And two, one of the characters are a little weird, and feel out of place. She was just too underdeveloped is all. But overall, this film was amazing. I really wanna see more Art the Clown movies in the future. I'll buy all of them!

  • Has NO business being half as fun and entertaining as is, but right from the opening 10 minutes, it's impossible to deny the charm of the antagonist or the ambition of the film's quirky, "go for broke," absurdity - all of which works very well. I SMELL A FRANCHISE.

  • Very Good, super Gore, classic feel; was expecting far worst, the movie demands a sequel as we need to see what happens to the Undertaker. 10 Stars for the budget given, the sequel could have a larger Budget as this is definitely a success.

  • 4/10/2018The antagonist was pretty scary looking and is the stuff of nightmares. Do not watch if you are really queasy with gore coz this has tons of it. This would have been a pretty memorable horror flick except that there were scenes that just leaves the audience questioning how and why they happened.

  • Not just another low budget horror movie...this movie is intense. Art the Clown's blank stare is just 'truly' eerie and haunting. His appearance has intensified since the film All Hallows' Eve. In one scene, he just sits and stares while sitting inside a pizzeria and it is sooo creepy. This isn't your Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street type of movie... trust me. A gore-fest to say the least with a true horror intensity. Finally, a real horror film! Art the Clown has arrived...

  • This is what a horror film should be. Highly recommend for anyone who can appreciate well executed gore and this level of creep factor. There is something very real and unsettling about our clown, at no point do you feel like you are watching a character. Art feels real. The movie isn't perfect but it shouldn't be, it feels like they pulled off exactly what they wanted. Everyone involved should be proud, well f**kin done.

  • Terrifier is probably the best new slasher film I have seen in a decade, with a tone that's a lot more brutal and nasty than the more fun,"roller coaster ride" feeling of most entries that you see in the subgenre nowadays. All of the actors give great, believable performances, the cinematography is phenomenal, and it features the sort of '80's style synth score that really helps to keep you feeling consistently uneasy throughout. But as good as everything else is, it's no exaggeration to say that Terrifier hinges on David H. Thornton's performance as Art the Clown, and fortunately (with the help of some beautifully designed and realized makeup) he totally delivers in the role. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but Terrifier is a genuinely fantastic and mean little slasher film deserving of your attention.
