After his wife is killed during a brutal mugging that also leaves him paralyzed, Grey Trace (Logan Marshall Green, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, PROMETHEUS) is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will "upgrade" his body. • This movie was great until it craps out in the last 2 minutes with the predictable "twist" ending.

  • Upgrade is a well-constructed and consistently thrilling return to ultra-violent cinema, with a high-tech boost added to old-fashioned revenge action movie fare and a sense of humor to boot, these upgrades to the genre are definitely worth it!

  • This could have been a blockbuster Netflix series. I hope it does convert to that. much potential for a Cyborg-develops-a-soul" megaseries. Movie was a tad too short. Cliche storyline did not get in the way of the action and character development. I would watch a series to the end if this guy in this role played it out to a logical conclusion.

  • A very entertaining and original film, The Punisher meets AI in a scifi budget film that satisfies the need for something different.

  • Graphic violence but with a purpose. Cast was fantastic. When Gray (Logan Marshall-Green) becomes paralyzed, the scenes showing his frustration and helplessness were powerful and led to the logical conclusion to have STEM implanted. Unrelenting action, never boring. The movie keeps you guessing until the surprising end. Only criticism: The Sneeze. That sort of broke up the continuity, but it's a very small part of the movie.

  • This one surprised me.... I expected a low grade B film sci fi/horror revenge thriller.. and its partly that.. but its actually more than that and better... Essentially RoboCop meets Death Wish with a dash of HAL from 2001 in it... the film has some nice twists and keeps you involved and guessing.. not going to the expected places.

  • Set in the future, this dark, yet clever thriller will surprise you with shocking plot twists and leave you on the edge of your seat. A nice departure from the formulaic action blockbusters that have been released lately. If you enjoy black mirror or get out, you'll love this movie.

  • A surprisingly well-crafted story with a terrific balance of laughs, drama, and terrific action. And, without getting into spoilers, the ending of the movie is highly satisfying.
