- It should have been me who killed him.A gang violently attacks a girl killing her. The girl's sixteen year old little sister wants revenge for the death of her sister and best friend and joins a ruthless female gang; however, even the ruthless female gang doesn't dare mess with the gang that killed the girl's sister. When the female gang sees the ruthless gang in action, and impacting some of their own, they may change their mind."Still murking people?""Still fucking them?"Nirpal Bhogal, director of episodes from the television series Misfits, delivers Skets in his directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is unique in the way it is told and is about a stray young lady and contains a sub plot of a female gang with nothing to lose. I did enjoy the concept and character development. The acting was also pretty good and the cast includes Lily Loveless, Riann Steele, Aimee Kelly, Emma Hartley-Miller, Richie Campbell, Ashley Walters, and Adelayo Adedayo."You going to do something useful with yourself?"Sket is a movie I came across on Netflix that was recommended to me. The reviews were fairly high so I gave it a chance. I will say this is better than average and contains some unique qualities, but this is far from a classic for the genre. This is an interesting coming of age mixed with gangster film. I would watch this once but wouldn't add it to my DVD collection."You fucking made me!"Grade: C+Reply

- Brings nothing new other than its female protagonist. Enjoyable watch if you're into the genre and Sket does have a pretty in-your-face soundtrack.Reply
- Maybe it's my taste, but I found this movie really good! An interesting story, female bullies, just because they have to survive in a male violent world, in London suburbs. The cast was very good, some of them really promising, I think we will see them again! Very good!Reply

- the Brit Urban Youth genre has been slacking on qality lately and Sket was the last film I thought would be the diamind in the rough... i really liked itReply

- Geordie girl Kayla joins a local girl gang after moving to London, and vows revenge on the crime boss who murdered her sister. A cut above the usual â~gang cultureâ(TM) movies of recent times, Sket offers an engaging drama with believable characters, backed up from convincing performances â" kudos especially going to newcomer Aimee Kelly in her debut role. Whatsmore, the lighting, cinematography and production design is fresh and vibrant and really adds to the atmosphere of the piece.Reply
- Despite some confusing narrative turns, writer-director Nirpal Bhogal's thriller is an impactful and authentic look at gang culture on London's meaner streets.Reply

- Gritty urban London films are two a penny these days but with Sket, script and production advice from real former gang members has helped create a film that is new, sincere and actually has something to say.Reply
