Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it's soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

- Played this on Playstation 1 as a kid. Brother and I saw it for his birthday on his birthday. Had a good time. Actually thought the movie was better than I had anticipated. I would actually probably buy this movie.Reply
- Liked it good family movie. Try and see it.....get it when it comes out. There is a few jesters and a few dad words. Not to much.Reply

- Dumb but fun. The Rock turns a bad script, lousy villians, and cheesy monsters into an entertaining 2 hours. I'd watch it again.Reply
- Really enjoyed this one, a straightforward, fun monster bash that doesn't take long to get the action rolling and has a solid human castReply

- this movie was not advertised for what it was. don't let it get typecast as a video game movie. It has all the makings of a good monster flick. even though it has the rock doing what he does best, the action and destruction rival almost any godzilla and king kong movie. it just has the bonus having having warm fuzzy @rock moments built in.Reply
- This movie was entertaining and did what it was supposed to do. I actually had lower expectations for it and thought it might be a bad idea to make a movie sort of based on an old video game but it worked. This isn't Avenger Infinity Wars level exciting but it is definitely something to catch if you've already seen Marvel's latest release.Reply
- There's little not to like in a Dwayne Johnson-led film. In Rampage, Dwayne Johnson true to form does what he does best - becoming the hero in another formulaic blockbuster. Despite serious flaws in the script and casting, Dwayne delivers in this fun and action-packed film.Reply

- LOVED IT! It was cute, funny, sad then funny again! I'm definitely buying the DVD in July!Reply

- I went in not knowing anything about this movie. Once it was clear that it was purposely over-the-top it became and absolute riot. The Rock kills it, metaphorically and literally, in this flick.Reply
