  • Great way to end an amazing series. The movies did not follow the books exactly but the writing still proved to provide a thrilling film with an emotional ending. I loved watching all 3 films. Death Cure was a great movie and wrapped up the series nicely. 9.5/10

  • ACK! THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING! My friend actually made me see it with her, and it was so worth it. I had read 3/4 of the first one, watched 3/4 of the second one, and then saw this one... and I understood everything, although it was prob bc she helped me. Something happens that doesn't happen in the books, which really depressed me, but I survived... and then there is a huuuuuuuge tear-jerker at the end.... you can only find out what happens if you watch it! So worth it!

  • I thought this movie was good. I really liked the first movie in the franchise. I thought the 2nd movie was pointless and boring. I thought this movie rounded the franchise up nicely. The plot was well written, it brings the story to a satisfactory end. All the plot points are tied together and rounded off nicely. There is an abundance of action and event in this movie. There is human emotion and interest. The landscapes and locations are interesting. I think of the action that is involved it could have been a little more intense or brutal to really make this film fly however it is fine as an entertainment spectacle the way it is. If you just watched the first movie and the third movie you would be satisfied with this franchise and not miss any major plot points. Just skip the 2nd movie.

  • good finally to the series, the characters who die do so with either meaning or by justice. Fitting, very fitting.

  • I thought the movie tied up loose ends very nicely. The action packed scenes and the overall pace of the storyline made the movie very interesting. Once again, Dylan O Brien emits a stunning performance.

  • While The Death Cure is still better off being viewed as a stand-alone film than a faithful adaptation (and yes, I know it's hypocritical seeing how I bashed the Percy Jackson movies for this reason), The Death Cure may not be as good as the first but it's still an improvement over Scorch Trials. The visuals, performances, action and cinematography are good, if not necessarily the most amazing thing I've ever seen. This movie is somewhat dated largely because the YA dystopia film adaptations pretty much ran their course after Lionsgate gave up on Divergent and also because of Dylan O'Brien's injury. However, while I prefer Hunger Games over this trilogy, I still found the movie to offer me a decent amount of closure even if it's somewhat bloated and overlong. Now, Wes Ball, go adapt the prequels to James Dashner's trilogy. See how you "use the same ingredients to make a different recipe" with Kill Order and Fever Code.

  • Great Closer, Tear Jerker, honestly the storyline was pretty great, didn't find anything wrong with the movie. I loved it.

  • Cohesive thrills and tension help Maze Runner: The Death Cure wrap up its trilogy on a reasonable note, but it won't make anyone care about its shallowly written characters and its immersion factor is sorely lacking.
