  • Hate it all you want, but this is a great modern interpretation! I spent the whole movie thinking that they reversed the sister's roles, but in the end they nailed it.

  • I wished they had chosen a better dancer for the female character in this movie. I love the original Dirty Dancing movie. The guy was perfect in this movie, he played the role of Johnny well. A few little changes to this movie would've made it a really good movie to watch.

  • Prepare for a total cheese fest, no matter how hard I wanted I slate it, I've still got to admit I loved it. Although I'd suggest skipping the final five minutes of the movie, as it is totally unnecessary and kinda heartbreaking ??Yes this is not like the original, however I loved the fact that they gave certain characters actual storylines in this movie - they dropped the running gag of the sisters hopelessness in this one. The music has been updated and is actually pretty good ?? Enjoy and try not to judge too hard!

  • Beautiful reimagining of the original film! Note: This is NOT the exact same movie as the original! Things are changed! But if you can remember that, it's a great film.

  • It's a fun summer movie and enjoyable! The teens find intrest in it too, it doesn't look so old school to them! Any remake will never match up to the original of course. All the actors played their characters well.

  • Not really sure what i expected. There is nothing like the original and I watched not expecting anything good but I was pleasantly surprised. At first I was not sure what to think of Baby but I was very pleased with their choice. Loved how they didn't go for a typical skinny girl. That was a great plus for me. Kuddos to them for trying because I don't think there will ever be a couple like Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze. Good job on this film but the original is too great to top.

  • A refreshing take on the old film. Nothing could ever be as good as the original and no one should expect it to be because nothing beats the original Johnny and Baby but this was a great tribute to the old film, I enjoyed it :-)

  • Right off the bat I will say that like most people I had expectations going in that made watching this version hard. But when I took a step back and watched it with fresh eyes, I could really appreciate the more realistic way this was played and that the performances were perfect for this version.

  • Just watching Cole Prattes' in action was enough to make me an instant fan of this movie! He played the bad boy with a basic code of ethics to perfection. The other characters each had a thread in the story which kept it interesting. I was NOT a fan of the ending which was too pat and easy and Lala-landish. I honestly think a lot of people simply weren't interested in the idea of a remake of the film at all, and hence, did not even bother to watch.

  • I don't know why people hate it so much. I think the actors did a good job. Adaptations will never compare to the originals stop doing that. It's an adaptation and it did its job, it gave us a nice portrayal and a different look on the secondary characters. Colt is no Patrick Swayze but he did his best. The ending is new and different not what the audience would expect, but it's an adaptation. Overall it's a nice new look on a beloved classic.
