  • Wasn't bad at all. It started out as your typical good vs. bad guy movie but the twist at the end impressed me.

  • fun and entertaining movie with some cool ideas. some good action and intensity. some boring parts but i unintentionally watched the extended version, the extra 8 minutes likely contributed. dumb stuff was pretty scarce, unexpectedly. overall enjoyable. but please stop putting 50 cent in movies (1 viewing)

  • I for one do not see how the critics give this less than 4 stars. I thought it was a well put together film that was not full of outrageous non realistic actions scenes. I thought there was good actions scenes and a good story that put together all the characters in place. Butler, Jackson Jr. and the rest of the cast did a great job with their characters. The film only received a 4 star from me simply because the writer put a side story in the film that wasn't needed.

  • Above average action shooter style movie with a cool twist. Fight scenes were reminiscent of the movie Heat with Pacino etc. I would recommend if you want a decent movie with lots of shooting and action and a cool group of actors all together.

  • The twist at the end is what made the end good.

  • I really liked this movie. Despite the mediocre reviews, I thought it was entertaining, and a good story. For this first time directorial debut, Christian Gudegust has certainly shown his potential with creating good movies.

  • Den of Thieves brings back the magic of a good ol' fashion bank heist thriller, I mean this film does everything right, it's structured by the book but it never feels like a cliché, it maintains a steady pace of action and never goes over the top. When it comes to visuals this film is to die for, they capture the real essence of L.A and that plays an important role in shaping this story, perfect camera placement, long tracking shots and a lot of close-ups, and that's exactly what a thriller should be all about, giving the feeling like you're actually there.Honestly, Den Of Thieves manages to break the mold of the cliché bank heist genre and it's probably one of the best movies in that genre in recent years.

  • I really like heist films, and Den of Thieves is probably going to be the best heist flick of the year. It does have a long runtime, but I think it's well paced, it's interesting, energetic and very entertaining. The characters are likeable and there's plenty of action too. While it doesn't bring anything new at all to the genre, and heavily draws inspiration from older action and heist movies, it's a good entry in the genre, and deserves more recognition. Recommended !!
