  • I caught this the night it opened, not knowing what to expect. The trailer doesn't really do it justice as it's not your average time travel movie. But then, it's not really any one kind of movie. It's a heady sci-fi tale with elements of a suspense thriller and even melodrama here and there. The genre mash-up doesn't always work, but there are key moments when it does and those alone are worth the price of admission.

  • Nothing about this film is game-changing, but it does so much right that i hope more people appreciate. First, the science behind the time travel device at the heart of the government conspiracy- based on a real covert R&D operation! - all checks out. Yeah, not as fun as the DeLorean but more interesting in my opinion. Second, and i think other people have said this already , this is really a movie about grief. After her husband's mysterious death, Helen - still processing all the anger and confusion associated with the death of a loved one - desperately searches for answers. And when she realizes that the same people who killed her future self (who's moved past the anger and onto complacency/ acceptance), she's able to help that future self (and be honest, with most time-travel movies its the other way around). And lastly, three words Linda. F***ing. Hamilton.

  • This is a trippy sci-fi flick, high-octane suspense thriller and meditation on grief all rolled up into one. And if the concept, plot and character journey didn't all fit together so seamlessly, I'd be joining the haters. But damn if this movie didn't hit me like a Black Mirror episode. That's to say, I was just as moved as I was intellectually stimulated. Yeah, maybe the performances aren't all great and the script could've used some work. But I can honestly say that I've never seen a film quite like this one (and it stayed with me for days!).

  • I stumbled across this online and decided to dive right into it without watching the trailer. Boy, am I glad I did (probably wouldn't have watched it otherwise)! The opening sets up a story about a woman trying to process the death of her husband - I almost switched it off, tbh - but then one-eightys into a suspense thriller about a government cover-up of time travel tech. You'd think that wouldn't work or feel like two different movies, but this is the first sci-fi movie in a while where I actually gave a s*** about what was gonna happen to the lead. By the end, I was totally along for the ride and kinda surprised it's not getting more attention.

  • I need to go back and change a many of things in my own life. Yes, I need to undo my own doing very badly indeed. In conclusion though I am just going to say this to sum everything up for you. "Every second I spend in the PRESENT is my PAST, and every second I spend in the PRESENT is my FUTURE." Quote unquote or whatever, but that's as real as any scientist or physicists is going to ever get it put out to them. Or anyone else for that matter who has ever wondered as hard as I have personally. So what I am truly saying is "DO WHAT YOU CAN WHILE YOU CAN WHEN YOU CAN, AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING YOU ARE ENJOYING EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF IT."

  • A non-stop adventure that never lets up. Some scenes veer on the corny side but even those can't prevent this one-of-a-kind sci-fi thriller from sticking with you long after the credits roll.

  • Not perfect by any means, but a memorable exploration of grief through a sci-fi thriller framework. Equal parts head and heart and surprisingly affecting.
