  • This movie was a nice surprise. I tried it randomly expecting it to be predictable and familiar. However this movie took us places I did not expect and had a few good surprises. Yes, there was some predictability but it was fluffed with some other surprises that helped me forget about the rest. Really enjoyed this one. A fun thrill ride.

  • Not my usual genre, but my wife loved it and I thought it was a fun movie. Couple of good "jumps" and we were on the edge of our seats most of the time. Yes, it's been done before, but the evil was interesting and the good was not pure, so all in all I'd recommend.

  • I of course watched this movie because David Tennant was in it and he did not disappoint! If I could give just him a rating it would obviously be 5. My biggest disappointment was that some scenes didn't appear to be needed or dragged on a little especially in the beginning. I personally loved the little jokes added and am glad they didn't make it jokey with excess gore.

  • Surprisingly well nuisanced which avoided some of the usual bad guy movie tropes.

  • A good thriller with good direction, great performances by David Tennant and Robert Sheehan, and enough twists on the genre to be interesting.

  • Saw this movie on opening night with my husband and friends . He is very picky about what movies he likes . We both enjoyed it and don't understand the negative reviews by the critics . I am going to buy the DVD when it comes out .

  • Regardless of what these critics say, this movie is fantastic! Even if there might be a few plot holes (which I didnt notice because I was too busy enjoying the film) it will still keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a good thriller and it made me want to watch it again and I hate watching the same movie more than once a year.

  • Oh, I got to see this as a screening with a Q&A with Dean Devlin and Robert Sheehan. It was FUCKING AMAZING. Few horror or thriller movies can make you jump, scream, laugh, and go WTF one right after the other. This one did.Cale, David Tennant, is not only a bad guy who is into power via semi overly perverted fetish ways of pony play, which in no way does he use in sexual ways (was talked about in the Q&A with Dean Devlin and Robert Sheehan), but he can also be a charmer.I'm pretty sure valets after this movie, will think again about taking a joy ride in someone else's car, let alone walking out of their house and FORGETTING TO PUT BACK THE OVERLY OCD PSYCHOPATHS BULTCUTTERS. Or, hey maybe not.Sean, Robert Sheehan, who plays the hero isnt much of one, but just wants to do the right thing. Which one would hope we all would. Things get out of control and those he loves, get hurt at times, worse then himself. It was lovely to see the captive get one up on her captor, and call the hero out on "this is how you save someone". I'm unsure how many actors could convey what Katie, Kerry Condon, does with her eyes alone. She was stellar. This movie is perfection.Go. See. It.Once you have seen it, tell me.. How many times did you see the Barty Crouch Jr. face? How many times did you hear the Dr?

  • WOW!!!! Just got out of the theater. In-Cred-able. The opening scene with the Portland pan shot to the poster screencap is fantastic. The rising action of the plot is intense, gave me goosebumps, and made me want to check all my home security measures. I know David Tennent gets tons of credit but The Sean Falco character was done marvelous as well. The writing, the directing was nothing short of mad geniuses. An unusual plot, a unique story, and abstract ending. A must see. I plan to see it again. 4 stars. Great job!!! Dare I say sequel?

  • I wasn't expecting much, but this was a excellent movie well written and directed. When you think a cliche is coming it doesn't or they put a new twist on the cliche to make it different. Well done
