  • I got some spoilers, but I really wanted to write a review cause I'm bored and the ending made me sad, an mad, and whatever else...OKAY so at the end of the movie Tom ruth just leaves the poor boy in the middle of the damn desert, with no explanation, he's just chilling and sleeping after a long day, you know how we all do on long car rides. He wakes up and probably thought they were gonna take a leak or something, but then he just leaves him in the middle of nowhere and he probably died of dehydration and/or the cartel tracked him down (you know how they do) and shot him.... also the summary says that there is "befriending" I don't see how he went from saving this kid, to leaving him out in the desert to die... I did not see the shift y'all..... otherwise it was good. I like me some Tom rith y'all, that's all I'm saying... so if you like Tim rothh you'll probably watch this movie and be like, okay...

  • A really slow paced road movie. Tim Roth is magnificent and it showcases the madness of America's gun laws brilliantly. The scene with the kid buying enough bullets to arm a Taliban guerrilla unit and the checkout girl doesn't bat an eyelid but when he asks for a couple packs of Marlboro lights she demands some ID is a great example of this. Some decent tension and Roth, in particular, makes it worth a watch.
