  • It's trashy, cheap garbage and Troma wouldn't have it any other way.

  • While the film's plot may just be an excuse to string together a bunch of gory fight scenes and action sequences that go on for way too long and overstay their welcome, the film as an overall experience is still hilarious enough to warrant a watch for fans of Troma's brand of cinematic insanity.

  • This might be funnier than the original and almost as good of a time.

  • The schlock is magnificent, the pacing however...

  • Couple good gross out gags, but the original is still the best.

  • The Toxic Avenger Part II, more or less, picks up where the last movie left off. Some time has passed in Tromaville, and crime seems to be a thing of the past. With the Toxic Avenger having cleaned up the streets, everything is serene. That is, until an evil corporation hell-bent on creating havoc and crime in the world comes to Tromaville, making things bad for Toxie. He leaves the U.S. for Japan in search of his long-lost father, only to be thwarted by crime lords. And that's about it for the plot, other than his blind girlfriend returning for more hijinks. While the movie isn't quite as good as the first movie, they really piled on the gore for the sequel. This is one of the goriest movies I've ever seen, and I say that with a smile on my face. Look no further than the fishmonger scene when the guy dices up another guy's leg like it's a dead fish. It's a fun movie, like the last one, but if you're not up for broad humor, nudity and gore, then you might want to steer clear of not just this, but all entries in the Toxic Avenger series (and anything made my Troma, in general). They are definitely not masterpieces of filmmaking or anything. That's for sure.

  • Cinematic Garbage at it's Greatest! As I expected from Troma. It's something like junk food. Not the healthiest thing in the world, but it's just something we all need every now and again.

  • This sequel is more on the comedic side than the first one was, almost like a spoof of a sequel to the first. I found it really funny sometimes, and at other times hard to endure.

  • You might say that I am the big mac with cheese The Toxic Avenger has cleaned up Tromaville and settled in nicely; however, a ruthless businessman attacks the town for unknown reasons killing several innocent victims in a battle with Toxic Avengers. Toxic goes into a state of depression due to the loss of the victims and is told by his psychologist that the only way to overcome his depression is to find his father. Toxie goes to Tokyo in search of his father; meanwhile, the businessman returns to Tromaville to take over in Toxie's absence. "We made waste out of that toxic bastard." Michael Herz, director of Stuck on You, Troma's War, Toxic Avenger 1 & 3, and Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D., delivers Toxic Avengers II. The storyline for this picture is awful but the action sequences were awesome and places this in its own class within the grindhouse genre. The acting is below average and the cast includes Rick Collins, Ron Fazio, and Phoebe Legere. "All those innocent blind people are dead." My wife received this DVD box set for Christmas from her brother and I can honestly say I did not pay enough attention to this series as a youth. There is great comedic content, action sequences, and gore in these films. Despite a horrible script, premise, and acting, the films are still fun and entertaining. If you are a fan of the grindhouse genre I recommend seeing this picture. "I looked and smelled so professional." Grade: B
