- Status update is nothing original. It was directed like many other "wishing for fame teen movies", but other than all the normal cliches and norms for a movie like this it was very enjoyable. It was made to attract the attention of the new generation amd well it does just that. Every movie has its own set of cliches but each movie portrays them differently and thats whats enjoyable about this movie. It takes that cliche and puts a spin to it. Some of the lines in this movie were brilliant enough to change the mood.Reply
