Souped-up speed demons race in a murderous rally across a futuristic United States where every city is named after a megacorporation and every hit-and-run "accident" is scored for points. This dystopian action thriller produced by B-movie legend Roger Corman is the sequel to his 1975 cult classic Death Race 2000.

- If you're a Roger Corman fan, then you'll get everything you came to see. Over the top gore, ridiculous dialogue and an all out good timeReply
- A throwback to the throwaway flicks of the late 70''s and early 80's. Except not many of them were this fun.Reply
- Death Race 2050 rehashes several plot points from the original, and all the CGI looks fake as shit, but it also brings some colorful new characters to the table, and the action is still pretty good.Reply

- Just like the original, this is a needed anomaly in film, during the time it was released. The people that don't understand this are the fans of generic Hollywood garbage, not open to seeing anything new.I'm very happy this site gave it the 100% it deserves. This is definitely the best movie of the year.Reply
- B-movie cinema lives, even if it's not as pure as it used to be. Death Race 2050 still hits the mark with over the top violence, sex and social satire. It lacks subtlety and knows it. Fans of the Corman and exploitation should feel happy with what's on display.Reply
- A very timely and effective sendup of modern American culture, combined with the overall themes of the original. Unfortunately, it sinks into very immature and homophobic humor at times, in a Troma-esque way, but overall it's visually effective and entertaining.Reply

- The film doesn't try to make sense, it isn't trying to be good. Its completely overtop and the only thing intelligent about it is its humor and social commentary. And somehow for Death Race 2050 that works and works really well. Its a 'so bad its good' film that is done so on purpose. There are going to be plenty of people that wont like this movie. Their suspension of disbelief just couldn't cut it. My only advice is that you need to watch this with an open mind. It doesn't make sense and it doesn't have to, so long as you just enjoy it for what it is and not hate it for what it's not.Reply
