  • An imaginative, funny and very cute French-Belgian animated movie that proves to be a lot of delightful fun for all ages - especially children, of course, who should love it -, with a good sound design, a great score and a sweet animation in a dialogue-free story.

  • Overall a teriffic movie that truly is for the whole family. An interactive experience with a great score, imaginitive "dialogue" and likable characters. It speaks of loyalty and friendship, courage and hope it shares its message in a less didactic and cliched way than most family movies.

  • An entertaining blend of real nature scenery with animated bugs. It is a straight forward plot, but it is always fun to see an adventure or quest from the perspective of insects.

  • With simply arresting animation, beautiful scenery, masterful cinematography and wonderful epic score, Minuscule is an incredibly offbeat silent French animated film with no spoken dialogue, but with inventive and charming sound effects accompanied by terrific music. Although the second half, apart from fantastic ending, is not quite on par with the first half, this is still one of the finest animated movies of the year, a film that is always charming and endearing, but also incredibly original and realistic. It is an adventurous and enchanting tale, an ambitious experiment done right and a proof how animated films can be authentic and artistic these days if approached creatively.

  • Without any speaking, so much is told in this little french animation. I loved how it was taking place in real life and the bugs were all so cute. Some scenes were too long for my taste, making the movie more fitting for a kid's expectations. It was fun.
