4 out of 5 stars. I've seen him live 3 times, but not on this tour. He puts on a great show!

One of the best ever being the best.

Director Demme delivers an energetic, well-directed, straight-forward concert doc that shows us not only Timberlake's talent, but also the moving sincerity with which he appreciates his fans. His perfect presence surrounded by an unbelievably awesome band make it a concert you'll wish you saw in person. A beautifully experimental mixture of crooner-soul-pop atop R&B/jazz-infused-rock bedding, find the biggest screen you can with the best sound system you can, and enjoy.

My only issue is I wish it was the concert in its entirety

This year's most unexpected joy. I've watched it three times now and I don't even particularly like Justin Timberlake's music.

Demme keeps finding something new and unusual to shoot, fascinated by the minutiae and peripheries of a major showbiz endeavor.

Superb concert film has some cursing, provocative songs.

A joyous experience and proof, if any was needed, that Demme and Timberlake are still at the top of their game.

Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids, despite being Demme's most extravagant performance film, is also a deceptively intimate portrait of a well-oiled musical machine.

Certainly it's possible that a live JT concert would entertain. But can this special achieve anything more? Oh, yes.

A chronicle of a man giving his absolute all to entertain those who pay to see him.

If nothing else, this loving concert doc makes a compelling case for the musicianship, artistry, and sheer athleticism of pop music.

[Demme] is the man behind the classic Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense... Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids is entirely worthy of that gold standard.
