  • I do like this, the dialogue from wonder women makes her seem really dumb. The film develops the Characters to be a bit square and simple, along with the story. But the finale with Darkseid is great.

  • an action-packed, extravaganza more of DC's animated action-packed ridesit doesn't take a breath the whole time but it's interesting seeing the birth of the team of defenders in the DC universepeople are upset and afraid of these beings existing in their world causing all kinds of damage but when an alien invasion arrives they decide to form an unlikely alliance to stop itminions called Parademons have been abducting people for their leader, Darkseid harvesting their DNA to make super soldiersit looks like Superman is the key to it allnow Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Captain Adam, and newcomer Cyborg go in an all out war to save mankindI like how Cyborg gets the most development here; his father is a workaholic, neglectful, and more interested in scientific breakthrough feeling that his son Victor playing sports will be meaningless compared to the super-powered beings inhabiting today's worldgreat voice actors per usual, fun action scenes, and Darkseid makes for an almost unbeatable enemyyeah they're not friends and they don't use the same approaches when battling but they can still be a part of something if any apocalyptic events takes shape againthe film never slows down yet it's still so much fun

  • People criticize this new DCEU and how they're jumping head first into a Justice League movie without having even set up most of the characters. And those are valid criticisms, but if you're going to do a Justice League movie without pre established characters, this is how you do it. The movie has a great hook. There's some effective world building, albeit contrived. The characters, for the most part, have a good dynamic. Batman is, appropriately, the only one really taking the situation seriously. Green Lantern is a pig headed narcissist with a hero complex. Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman is a stoic, spirited, and fairly naive warrior. There's not really much to Cyborg as a character other than being an exposition machine, but his characterization before he becomes Cyborg is refreshing. He's a neglected son with a workaholic dad. But, he's actually quite tolerant and patient with his father until all of his pent up frustration finally bursts. His father also has a surprisingly interesting motivation for being so neglectful. The two worst characters are Superman and Captain Marvel. Both of them suffer from the same problem. Both of these characters in the comics are supposed to be stoic. They're supposed to be very classical, goody two shoes superheroes. But, I suppose the writers thought that that would be too campy, so they instead decided to make them both douche bags. They are insufferably arrogant and cruel. They have absolutely no redeeming qualities. If I were to call out one major difference between this movie and, say, Avengers, that difference would be that the Avengers is about a group of super powered beings fighting at the same time and in the same place. Occasionally in pairs. But with this movie, during the climax, none of them are ever off alone fighting by themselves. They are all acting together as a team to accomplish one goal. Is it a big detail to differentiate? No, but it was noticeable.

  • This is just basically one giant action scene from start to finish, The story is just about Darkseid and his army coming to earth to destroy it and we have the Justice League not even formed yet, They eventually team up and fight Darkseid, The action was brilliant and entertaining, Darkseid was made to look very threatening and if they decide to bring him to the big screen this is how he should be done, Kids will love the non stop action and there's abit of humour in there too which helps, It's one of the best DC animations out there so don't miss it.

  • By the books and crammed with content, but Justice League: War is a terrific way to unite the League in cartoon format.

  • Not a bad loose adaptation of the Justice League (New 52) Origin Story, although a few parts of the film are glossed over. For example, how did Batman succeed in freeing Superman from Desaad's control as it is not fully shown on screen.

  • Not at all bad, I enjoyed it.. Maybe not a instant classic but..

  • New 52 has its first adaptation on the silver screen. The results are just ok. DC takes a big swing and only tips the ball instead of full on slams it. The story feels a bit rushed and isn't fleshed out enough to make it feel great. Fun for those who are looking for a big fight scene, but just eh for those wanting story.

  • A large scale battle film showing a modern day view of the formation of the Justice League, showing off epic fight's and confrontations of your favorite super hero's..... and that's really it. Not much of a story or anything memorable to gain from watching. I'd say watch this movie if your bored or want to get an idea of who or what the justice league are. Don't expect anything special.

  • Justice League: War(2014)Starring: Michelle Monaghan, Alan Tudyk, Sean Astin, Shemar Moore, Christopher Gorham, Justin Kirk, Jason O' Mara, Steve Blum, George Newborn, Zach Callison, Bruce Thomas, Lara Jill Miller, Rocky Carroll, and Georgie KidderDirected By: Jay OliviaReviewA TIME WHEN HEROES BECAME LEGENDS."You Can Call Us The Super Seven"All my life I have been more a Marvel person which is something I have stated in a few reviews but when it came to DC I always loved Superman, Supergirl and Batman. Superman is my favorite and so is his cousin, I always found Batman to be overrated because people say "He's better than Superman Because he's Batman" which is the most illogical and idiotic things I've ever heard and for the love of God it needs to stop. With DC now booming with Supergirl on NBC, The Flash and Arrow on CW, DC is becoming great but I've never taken a fondness to Shazam or Wonder Woman, but with this movie it totally changed my mind. The world is under attack by an alien armada led by the powerful Apokoliptian, Darkseid. A group of superheroes consisting of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Shazam must set aside their differences and gather together to defend Earth.I am hoping to see this as a live action feature in the DC Extended Universe because to me this is how the DC Universe should have started anyway I mean if this was the first movie in the DC Extended Universe and not Man of Steel critics would probably love it, fans would shit themselves, and then after this you could do the standalone movies and we would be excited to see those characters. I thought that this really captured how badass DC can be, the voice acting is great, the animation is awesome and the costumes that their wearing the designs for Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Green Lantern they should have went with those designs, well granted we haven't seen the new Green Lantern yet but I'm talking about the designs for Wonder Woman and Superman if their costumes looked just like this I would be like OH MY GOD!In the end though DC animation is the best stuff in superhero animation, I give Justice League: War a four and a half out of five.

  • Justice League: War is was a spectacular thriller. Although there is a lack of character development, JL War delivers consistent action and amazing animation. The story is somewhat generic but the characters are so incredible, especially Batman who's involvement attests to the superpower of intelligence. You'll be on the edge of seat for this one!

  • Dark animated tale has constant violence, some profanity.

  • Quips are crammed in between the spats and battles (voice cast includes Alan Tudyk, Jason O'Mara, Michelle Monaghan, and Justin Kirk), but there's not much resonance this time around...
