  • It's a little too long and because they decided to go with more of a Romance angle as opposed to the Sci-fi one you might expect, there was only so much they could do with the idea before it started to feel repetitive. Concentrating on its characters, their relationship and how they deal with their new-found connection as it begins to have an impact on their lives, 'In Your Eyes' is more of a character-driven affair than anything else and, as such, relies heavily on its two leads. Luckily, they are very likeably played by Kazan and Stahl-David making it easy for the audience to root for them. It doesn't do much that is particularly surprising and they didn't make the most of its interesting concept, but that doesn't mean it isn't a sweet and romantic film that plays to its strengths in all the right places.

  • I loved the way he looked at her knowing that he couldn't have her.

  • Not Joss Whedon's best work (maybe his least). Also, I found much of the character progression awkward. How weird they were so quick to adapt to the confusion with little reason to believe each other. While the female lead was adorable, and the male lead was 'guy next door' handsome - I don't mind they leaned towards a shallow attraction. Though they could have made it about philosophical attributes, which they were similar in.Overall, it was a good idea with a decent ending, but I found myself being taken out of the immersion when unrealistic moments occurred without being explained.

  • Ah, love conquers all. Even weird meta-love.

  • Given the premise of the film I was a little unsure if I would like this but the story is so good (although it falters a little at the end in an attempt to add some drama) that you don't think too much about how the psychic connection actually works and just enjoy the film. In fact, it probably helps that they don't even attempt to explain it.

  • In your Eyes is a romance, but in the realm of science fiction. Becki and Dylan can see each other even through the other's eyes and feel each other's emotions, etc. -- even though they live at opposite ends of the country. Over the movie, they get to know each other intimately and fall in love. All that I found plausible, but the fairytale ending was stupid.

  • I love this movie. I've already recommend it several people. It's very powerful. If I had to find a way of explaining twinflames. This would definitely explain it.

  • While it's not going to a film that will change your life, In Your Eyes offers some relatable feelings and a nice chemistry between its leads.

  • Its subtle, a bit weird, and not for those who enjoy action, but Kazan and Stahl-David combine chemistry with Joss Whedon's creative direction for one of the least sappy yet romantic indie films I have ever seen. Soundtrack is another plus, staying true to the indie vibe, yet enhancing the experience with its emphasis on subtle beauty in sound.

  • I could really relate to these two individuals experiencing something that nobody, including initially themselves, would believe, and how their invisible "relationship" is viewed by those around them. Interestingly, if they'd just popped a blue-tooth thing into each of their ears, nobody would have thought twice about them babbling to themselves.Still, an enjoyable exploration of an interesting concept. Well acted if a little over-played (or over scripted) for some roles.I'd watch this movie again.

  • This quirky and charming film has a very original concept. I was totally engrossed by the story and when it ended I wanted more. Loved the acting and the characters. They were so loveable and their chemistry was great. If you're looking for an original romcom that can be enjoyed by both genres, well stop searching you've found it.

  • Beautiful and charming story of two people connected by mind, living on other sides of the USA. One of the most interesting, funny and original romantic comedy's I have seen since 'About Time'. Zoe Kazan and Michael Stahl-David are providing great performance making this film an exceptional experience.
