  • Could have been a much better movie than it was. This is a coming-of-age story about a young girl's first period. Seemed badly acted at times, but yet no reviewers came out criticizing the movie. I wondered if they were afraid to say it for fear of reaction.

  • #girlpower "Girl Flu" is a film for women made by women. Every women has the story of when she first got her period. These stories contain a universal embarrassment over something that is totally normal and natural. I related so much to the film and you will get some great laughs in too!

  • As a dad of two daughters, this was a thoroughly enjoyable and in some ways enlightening story of a part of life unrepresented in art. The sharp writing and sincere performances make it a heartfelt gem that everyone should enjoy, but every parent of a pre-teen daughter should absolutely experience.
