- This movie takes the punk rock life of a teenager and mixes it with the real life troubles of a old man dictator. Go see it!Reply

- Michael Caine is always delightful, when you add Rush and Holmes it's a playful ride. Fun film if you want to smile and laugh out loud.Reply
- I saw this movie and I really liked it. I read reviews that didn't like the sentimentality of the movie, but I thought it made it charming. I love Michael Caine and I thought newcomer Jackson Beard was great in the role of Denny. I would definitely watch this movie again.Reply
- Silly, goofy and under rated by people who are just to stuck up to release the stick out of their buttsReply
- It's a pretty good idea for a mash-up: teen coming-of-age, high school romp with advice from a third world dictator on the run. It should've been priceless, but instead the set-up is wasted. The talent onscreen is up to the task, and so the fault lies with the script, perhaps not finished enough. There remains enough to see that potential is present and so one is not bored. It's just that the potential is unrealized.Reply
- This movie has heart, laughs, and terrific performances by all the leads. Ignore the critics and see for yourself.Reply
- Honestly a great movie. The jokes landed and it was an enjoyable movie experience. Would see againReply
- Great cast! Great mother-daughter flick. Silly but poignant. Would recommend, especially for mothers of teenage girls. Not that this mother was typical. But, some very funny scenes.Reply
- Dear Dictator takes a different approach at showing how the modern world has changed. Now a high school girl can cause more trouble than a countries dictator. The punk rock guides you through a coming of age high school girls troubles mixed with an ousted countries leader trying to take back power.Reply
- LOVED THIS MOVIE! i don't understand why it got such bad reviews, honestly. The main girl was soooo good. The relationships were so original. maybe i'm just weird.Reply
