Take the thrown away bits of a Curb episode and stretch them out over a feature length film and you get this.

If you removed Larry David from the movie, it most certainly would have been miserable.

Story line is great. Larry David is exceptional!I had many many belly laughs.He's a great actor.The man. That plays the black guy very good.Hamm good!Timing excellent Doc

The story of how to mess up the second chance as well.A much better film than I anticipated from the director of 'Superbad'. This is a television film, that's the sad part, but the production quality was like made for the big screens. From the title to the performances and the locations, all were very good. This is the tale of a man who gave up his share in a startup to realise it a few years later that he had lost a big fortune. And his second chance, how he's going to react and what he gets is what the film was focused.The casting was really good. Even for the tiny roles, many big names came in. But Larry David ruled as the story presented from his perspective. Don't ignore it thinking it is a small screen product, because this was a unique story and very entertaining. Almost a perfect flick, including a fine pace. But in a few segments, it dragged with unnecessary scenes. More like unneeded developments to stretch the runtime. Though there's no complaint for the overall film. It's not a must see film, but if you miss it you are going to miss out a good entertainment. And finally, I liked the end credits.7/10

As someone who loves Curb Your Enthusiasm but doesn't want to watch it for a fifth time, I thought this was a fun "Curb Your Enthusiasm Lite" to pass a chilly Spring evening. It was a reasonably entertaining film, a decent dose of Larry David and a good temporary fix while we wait for the 9th season.

It's a HBO movie starring Larry David. You either love or hate his brand of odd humor, alongside some sticky situations, as per Seinfeld. I found it hilarious. Excellent cast too.

There was some funny parts, it was ok.

Larry David being Larry David. Yeah it's funny and awkward but it doesn't offer anything I can't get by watching old episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I didn't want to compare it to Curb because that's what everyone is going to do, the problem is when you play the same character over and over it leads to comparisons. I almost didn't give this the extra Michael Keaton star but I did because you know... He's Batman...

It's Larry, for God's sake!

Big fan of Curb, and this was basically a movie version of Larry David's character, and it did not disappoint me. Good supporting cast including Michael Keaton and Jon Ham.

It's funny, but not as great as I anticipated being from Larry David.

The Seinfeld like banter lives up to the Larry David brand.
